One of my most favorite visited places has to be Key West. The colors, the people the key lime slices on a stick… ahh all of it is so fun! Well this nice weather has sparked the summer wishin in me and what better way to have a little taste of summer than a cocktail! Now I’m warning you in advance, this is a tart drink- think of a piece of tart and tangy key lime pie.

You’ll need a lime, lime juice (I used Nellie & Joe’s Famous Lime Juice for the key lime taste) some sugar, club soda and white rum. Squeeze a lime sliver into an empty glass, add a shot of rum (or two), a shot of the lime juice, a splash of club soda (to taste) and a teaspoon of sugar. Mix and serve over ice.
